Representing GITC at the UN

Earlier this week I had the distinct honor of going to a meeting at the UN about using music as a natural resource in the fight to improve health, education and living conditions around the world. The meeting was organized by the International Council for Caring Communities and UN-HABITAT, the UN agency charged with improving the lives of the world's expanding urban populations. I had the opportunity to meet some fascinating and progressive actors and representatives from other foundations and countries and discuss the work of Guitars in the Classroom.
